About the job
At the Nordics Recruitment team, we aim to create the very best in-house processes for recruitment and talent management, and we bring both agility and core customer focus as we act on the needs of the business. Joining us as a Recruitment Specialist, you partner up with our hiring managers and take lead in the full recruitment cycles – from initial meeting to final signing of the contract. To support you is our team of recruitment colleagues, communication specialists and coordinators. Knowing your customers and understanding the business is key, and your work spans across all our positions and brands. Our internal stakeholders are our clients and we’re keen on providing them with new Sandvik enthusiasts. Equally important is to create a strong candidate experience, and you help us to regularly improve the way we hire with a constant lens on diversity and inclusion.

Naturally, you also engage in sourcing, running workshops and establishing a future candidate pool, and you help us keep track of trends, development and new recruiting methods. Managing our recruitments in the Nordic region means you could be located anywhere within this area. However, post covid-19, you do need to spend some time in Sandviken, where most of your team members are located. Even if we’re using digital meeting and recruitment tools, some travel is normally included in your job.

About you
We’re looking for someone with broad recruitment experience – either from an in-house recruitment or a recruitment firm, and with responsibility for full lifecycle recruitments. Any previous experiences from global manufacturing industries are beneficial. You have a project-based working approach and the grit to take our recruitments to the next stage by meeting the demands of both the business and the candidate market. Skills in digital meeting solutions, as well as recruitment and assessment tools, are needed, and an assessment tool certificate is a plus. In our international world you manage many various stakeholders, and you need fluency in English, while knowledge of another Nordic language is a merit. A relevant university degree would be great, but in the end it all comes down to your background and attitude.

And talking about attitude, you’re curious, open minded and unbiased, and you always show high integrity. With a structured and customer centric mindset, you take lead in multiple recruitment projects simultaneously, while being both proactive and ahead of the game. Great teamwork and supporting colleagues are keys. You influence and challenge us in building a diverse and inclusive workforce, and you consider all aspects to best support our hiring managers by listening to their needs, establishing professional collaborations and staying true to our Sandvik culture, vision and values.
