Experienced Software Engineer

Resolution Games is a Stockholm-based VR/AR studio focused on creating immersive experiences for all - from gamers to non-gamers alike. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our talented team. Are you what we are looking for?

What you’ll do

This is a great chance for you to take part in a talented team that works on creating social games that everyone can enjoy. You will join a fast-moving team where you will get to work on an array of exciting projects and challenges at a time. The job will focus on solving technical challenges for both individual game projects and solutions spanning the whole company, such as developer tools, integrated systems, porting, or figuring out a complex game feature that a project needs help with. Common for all these solutions is that they will require a high level of reliability and maintainability as they will be used by the different game projects throughout their lifecycle.

This job offers a unique opportunity to be involved hands-on with multiple aspects of game development.

- Implement gameplay and support systems features in VR & AR games
- Implement code that is performant on low spec devices like Oculus Quest
- Develop well-structured and high-performance code of high quality


Who you are

Requirements

- Excellent coding experience, we believe to be successful you'll have 5+ years working experience as a developer and a strong engineering background
- Good experience from working in a team with game development
- Satisfactory experience in programming for mobile platforms
- Great knowledge of modern C++ and C#


Nice to have

- Experience of Unity, Perforce, and Git
- Experience working with the Rust programming language
- Experience with network- & server programming would be a plus
- Experience of working with VR as well as a passion for anything visual computing-related
