Experienced Structure and Packaging engineer within Propulsion

Today we deliver to different automotive brands in the Geely family such as Geely Auto, Volvo Cars, and Lynk & Co and are based at Lindholmen in Gothenburg.

Propulsion at CEVT is responsible for development of new global electrified powertrains in the early concept phases. Our organization plays an important role since these systems will continue to be the main technologies for the Geely group going forward. CEVT is an important innovation center in the Geely Group, which brings a great opportunity to contribute to innovating new technology for future powertrains to be used across brands in the Geely Group.
We now need to strengthen our HW team with a senior Structural and packaging engineer. You will network between the different HW areas within propulsion and to external interfaces. As an experienced engineer you will take an active part of system development in the field of Structural design to the future Electrical powertrains.
The development is carried out in collaboration with several parties inside Geely Group as well as by external contractors, which means you are used to work in automotive industry and drive suppliers in the development work.

This is what you will do most of the time:

- Design within subsystems of powertrain: Transmission Housing design and vehicle packaging.
- Work within advance engineering, drive from idea to concept
- Work closely with other HW interfaces
- Work with requirement setting
- Work closely with suppliers to drive the progress towards industrialization to get an optimized design.
- Be a contributor in an agile team


You have probably done something like this:

- Extensive experience within automotive industry preferably within Powertrain systems. Extensive experience of CAD design in Catia (and also Creo)
- Extensive experience of work with complex Casted designs
- Some experience in Transmissions
- Experience of working cross functionally and cross culture
- Experianced of working in TeamCenter (TCe)
- Experience within vehicle packaging
- Good with people Networking
