Experienced System Engineer within Powertrain/Mounts

Powertrain Engineering at CEVT is responsible for development of new global electrified powertrains in the early concept phases. Our organization plays an important role since these systems will be the main technologies for the Geely group going forward. CEVT is an important innovation center in the Geely Group, which brings a great opportunity to contribute to innovating new technology for future powertrains to be used across brands in the Geely Group.

We now need to strengthen our Engineering team with a senior System Engineer with knowledge towards Mounts of electric propulsion. You will network between the different System areas within propulsion and to external interfaces. Working closely towards suppliers and internal stakeholders.

As an experienced engineer you will take an active part of system development in the field of systemizing, supporting systems to the future Electrical powertrains. The development is carried out in collaboration with several parties inside CEVT such as attribute leaders as well as by external contractors, which means you are used to work in automotive industry and drive suppliers in the development work. You should also be used to work with requirement management.

This is what you will do most of the time:

System work within engine mounts of electric propulsion and it’s interfaces
Support engineering work in projects
Work with requirements in System Weaver
Work within advance engineering, drive from idea to concept
Work closely with suppliers to get an optimized design
Be a contributor in an agile team

Suitable background and experience

Knowledge within Propulsion behavior and mounts design
Experience within automotive industry preferably within Powertrain systems
Experience of work in with Drivetrains/powertrains
Experience of working cross functionally
Strong networking skills, experience of working cross functionally
Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
Some experience of CAD design in Catia is preferable
