Experienced System/Mechatronics Engineer

Experienced mechatronic system engineer within Powertrain/Driveline

Powertrain Engineering at CEVT is responsible for development of new global electrified powertrains from the early concept phase to industrialization. Our organization plays an important role since these systems will continue to be the main technologies for the Geely group going forward. CEVT is an important innovation center in the Geely Group, which brings a great opportunity to contribute to innovating new technology for future powertrains to be used across brands in the Geely Group.

We now need to strenghten our HW team with a senior Mechatronics engineer. You will network between HW and SW for control of the HW component, in order to make sure we have the right prerequisites for our control systems.
As an experienced system engineer you will take an active part of system development in the field of systemizing, supporting systems to the future Electrical and hybrid powertrains . The development is carried out in collaboration  with several parties inside Geely Group as well as by external contractors, which means you are used to work in automotive industry and drive suppliers in the development work - 
Working with software interfaces, systems and functions are of importance in this position.

Responsibilities and tasks
* System responsible within subsystems of powertrain
* Work within advance engineering, drive from idea to concept
* Work closely with SW interfaces and secure robust function implementation
* Work with requirement setting
* Work closely with suppliers to drive the progress towards industrialization to get an optimized design.
* Be a contributor in an agile team


Requirements
* Extensive experience within automotive industry preferably within Powertrain systems.
* Extensive experience of work within Mechatronic, Electric Machines and/or HW electronics
* Some experience in mechanical design
* Experience of working cross functionally
* Experience within oil chemistry is a merit
