Your team
We are now looking for a Systems Engineer to join our NIRA Customer Adaptation team where the focus is to adapt, optimize and integrate NIRAs products into vehicles, this with a close cooperation with our satellite offices in Brazil and Japan.
You will be a part of a team where you, together with your team members, work on multiple projects delivering to our customers around the world. The team consists of about 16 team members that work as project managers, technical leads, application- and integration engineers and test technicians. All with a high social level and great willingness to cooperate to achieve the team's goals and together solve any problems that might pop up along the way.

This is what you will do
You will be one of the Systems engineers in the team with focus on system performance and optimization in our customer projects. Together with the rest of the team, you will take part in customer meetings, project planning, data collection, requirement management, implementation, system and algorithm optimization, hands-on testing of the software in the vehicles and deliveries. We are using an agile approach in our way of working and also a “Work-From-Anywhere” concept that gives flexibility in working time and location. Work when it works, where it works!
You are also expected to contribute to the whole team’s wellbeing and performance which is essential for our common success.
Your responsibilities includes:
• Performance tuning of the products
• Continuous contact with the customers’ technical representatives
• Requirements engineering
• Prepare analyses and reports to the customer
• Development and improvements of tools and processes
As you get comfortable within your role and the organization, develop your competence, there are several opportunities such as the role as Tech Lead in projects where you take an overall responsibility of the technical parts and quality in an assigned project.

Travels abroad should be possible when necessary.
Your experience shall include:
• Requirements Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience and at least 2 years as Systems Engineer (or equivalent)
• Knowledge (or willingness to learn) in signal processing and Matlab.
It’s an advantage if you also have experience or interest in learning of:
• Testdriven development and automation
• Programming in C++ and Python.
• ISO26262, ASPICE
• Automotive SW development
• Vehicle dynamics
• Customer communication and cooperation
Other required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or solid work experience
• Fluency in English
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and the will to learn more
• Driving license (B)
