If so, then this position might be perfect for you! We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Vehicle Dynamics, ADAS, and Automation team within the Complete Vehicle department. You would be joining us as an Experienced Test Engineer specializing in Ride Comfort.

At Vehicle dynamics, ADAS and Automation, you will work alongside some of the most accomplished colleagues in the industry. Our skilled and dedicated team consists of ADAS, Brake, Ride, and Handling feature validation engineers and test engineers. We are all working towards the same goal – to make our customers happy.
About the role
As an Experienced Test Engineer, your main responsibility is to lead the testing process by planning, executing, and reporting feature and function tests specifically related to Ride Comfort. You will work closely with various engineering departments across different technology streams and vehicle streams.
Your main tasks are to:
* Define strategies for how to perform tests within the ride comfort area including new technologies.
* Identify the verification needs for Features and function tests to define test requirements.
* Manage, plan, prepare, and execute tests.
* Prepare and manage fault reports from tests.
* Analyze results and give recommendations in their respective technology area.
* Document results and compile the engineering report (ER).
* Continuously update Test Methods and propose updates of Technical Requirement together with the technology areas.
* Define strategies and develop test methods for new technologies and transport solutions within features.
Testing is the heart of Complete Vehicle, and it is a strategic area where extensive development and substantial challenges will happen in the coming 5 years.
Who are you?
In this role, you will bring:
* A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field, or equivalent professional experience.
* At least 3 years of experience working in vehicle dynamics testing within the automotive industry, preferably in development or verification.
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in vehicle instrumentation and test setup, including vehicle preparation, test data collection (on test tracks and public roads), test data management (file format, storage/uploading, and reuse), frequency analysis and interpretation of results, and report writing.
* Knowledge of the agile way of working.
* A holistic view, strong communication skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Proactiveness, flexibility, and a strong motivation to learn.
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Furthermore, having a C/CE License would be considered a plus.
