Drive Innovation in User Experience at Ericsson: Shaping Research and Insights
Ericsson is looking for a new member to join the Design and User Experience team. In this role, you'll work on diverse projects, applying both quantitative and qualitative research methods to solve challenges in our software portfolio through user experience measurement, data collection, and analysis.
Your strengths lie in research, collaboration, and strategic thinking. You will focus on understanding user needs, delivering great experiences, and helping organizations scale. With a positive attitude and a commitment to quality, you'll foster a culture of continuous learning.
Your main goal will be to establish a data-driven research culture by using various research methods, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting findings with the right tools. You'll also contribute to usability case studies for our new usability lab, leading research plans, recruiting participants, and conducting usability tests.
Key Responsibilities:
Using the wide range of research approaches in your toolkit, including but not limited to: contextual inquiry, in-depth interviews, longitudinal qualitative research like diary studies, co-creation and/or PAR, validation research, usability/task analysis, secondary research, trend scanning, surveys, analyzing data sets, etc.
Carry out and make decisions on statistical analysis of acquired raw data, using flexible and multiple approaches that can provide practical insights and design outcomes.
Conducting workshops and co-creation sessions based on the user research.
Synthesizing multiple data sources and insights into communication documents that present a clear message about the biggest implications for stakeholders.
Create processes for data sharing within the DUX team, and implement the new tools and methods you see in the market.
Helping translate both primary and secondary research findings into outputs that support ideation and concrete solutions.
To succeed in this role, you need:
Experience in human-centered design or service design.
A degree in Anthropology, HCI, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of industry research experience.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Demonstrated success in applying various user research methods.
Relevant product research experience in end-to-end, usability, or generative settings.
