For the next four years, Munck Civil Engineering is the main contractor on the construction of new airports in Nuuk and Ilulissat. We are constantly looking for new employees within a range of job categories, and currently we are focused on recruiting a skilled and experienced Workshop Manager for the project in Nuuk.
Your main tasks will include overall responsibility maintenance and repair work of our drilling rigs and other construction equipment in our workshop in Nuuk. You will be responsible for the daily planning and management of the workshop.
You will be in contact with a range of people across the project organization, and you will be responsible for setting your own team of mechanics etc.
Key requirements:
- Good technical knowledge and experience in repairing construction machines
- Experience with management of mechanics, smiths etc
- Flexible, committed and energetic personality
- Systematic and structured
- Good planning skills - and ability to adapt when required
- Good sense and understanding of economic issues
- Ability to create an open, honest and trusting relationship across the project organization

About the Project
The contract includes construction of runways, taxiways, site preparation for new terminal buildings, production and paving with asphalt, rerouting and connection to access roads, installing electrical, water and sewer lines as well as construction of parking area.
Project is planned to be finished at the end of 2023.
