We are now looking for an Expert accountant for the Affiliates Accounting Team. The team is responsible for the accounting and reporting for the entities with subscription business and direct sales within the Volvo Car Group. We offer a diverse role with the opportunity to play an important part and contribute to our biggest transformation yet – becoming a fully electric brand with direct and online sales. 

What you’ll do: 
Your focus will be to take the lead on strategically important projects and make sure that our entities comply with IFRS. Deep accounting knowledge is crucial since various stakeholders need accounting input to transform the Volvo Car business from sales to dealers to sale of subscription cars and direct sales to end customers. You will contribute to improvements for our financial processes so that high quality accounting and reporting is achieved for our entities. You will work with a team of colleagues and be their support when they perform daily accounting tasks and closing activities.  

What you’ll bring: 
We believe you have a degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar, combined with at least 5-10 years of post-graduation experience working with accounting and reporting in accordance with IFRS, in an international auditing firm or a large international corporation. To be effective in this position you have to be comfortable with advanced accounting knowledge. Fluency in English is a requirement for this role.

As a person, you can create and drive commitment with ease, and are not afraid of taking decisions. Your analysis and problem-solving techniques are solid, and you possess the ability to grasp the bigger picture. You need to be proactive and be able to communicate in a clear and direct way, building trust and relations with our stakeholders. You need to have a solid understanding of finance processes and systems and the ability to practically implement and deliver them with high efficiency and quality.
