We would like to reduce the sourcing cost/lead time continuously and part numbers in order to have more efficient internal operation and supplier management, to support competitive product and market position. You will work in the Component & Board Management Department of Corporate Architecture and System Design Office, which is company level technical management organization, in charge of all kind of components roadmap, introduction, and implementation in R&D and phase our policy. Responsibilities The main responsibilities are: Help us to build product competitiveness by use of proper components sourcing strategy, introduction, substitution and phase out strategy. Set Benchmark for key components including the number of material BOM code, supplier and etc, in order to find more reuse. Set the overall components reuse strategy and BOM number goals for procurement. Help us to improve the cooperation strategy with suppliers, identify the mainstream suppliers. Develop the PPL for main components and PSL, and related management method based on telecom industry best practice. Qualifications Required 10 years experience components expert or related manager position, with the components selection for such as wireless, core network or fixed network product; Familiar with the key telecom product components, such as IC (processor, memory, FPGA, amplifier, and clock ), connectors, cables and etc; Familiar with the major telecom products, with PCBA hardware design experience.
