At Solution Area Packet Core (SA PC) within Business Area Digital Services we are working at the core of the 5G evolution, delivering cost efficient software solutions that make core networks high-performing, automated and highly programmable.
Solution Architecture & Technology unit within SA PC drives overall core network architecture evolution and solution architecture. We are working E2E core network solutions including alignment cross other BA/SA and industry engagements.
We are now looking for a specialist in the area of Core Network Security within SA Packet Core to continue to secure Ericsson technology leadership within Core Networks. Security in Core network is of outmost important. Especially when 5G promise goes beyond consumer services but also cover Enterprises and social critical networks. Core network security concerns the security functionality and architecture of core network products and the mechanisms applied during development and maintenance to ensure that the threats, risks and vulnerabilities are understood, that the product is developed in a secure way and that it is well prepared for secure installation and systems integration. Security becomes a key asset in Core networks and a selling factor.
You will
Responsible to drive security alignment cross SA PC. Set technology strategy and secure execution
Identify required system security studies for evolved security solutions
Act as a leader in the SA PC Security community.
Provide with strategic insights around trends, concepts, technology maturity and device readiness in evolution of security solutions
Responsible to ensure SA PC security strategic direction towards 3GPP and GSMA
Support PDU security champions on translation of security requirements and assurance mechanisms from group functions to implementation on SA PC level
Support PDU security champions for identifying the vital enablers and resources required to be in place for Security Reliability model alignment
Review and support approval of SA PC product security designs and implementations, and validate test results
Ensure the vital decisions in relevant architecture boards/councils are taken to facilitate the evolution
Part ensuring relevant security requirements on a portfolio level to complement group level requirements.
To be successful in the role you must have
Strong proven technology leadership in the Security technologies
Encourage courageous leadership: Provide clear direction, take challenging decisions
High interest and capability to understand technical trends to capitalize on opportunities and to understand where the industry is going
Demonstrated ability: Knowledge of Core Networks is an advantage but not a requirement
Extensive experience in related areas of system management
Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment
Experience handling complex contact networks
Experience in formulating strategies and concepts
Excellent time and productivity management
Attitude is characterized by "one Ericsson" and "Customer first"
Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Fluent in oral and written English and have excellent writing and presentation skills
Bachelors or Master of Science in Computer Engineering or similar
