Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Expert DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team
What you will work on:
Support the implementation of the Monitoring & Observability Toolchain, engaging with stakeholders and the Software Engineering community to ensure alignment with best practices and objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within teams, influencing our client’s ways of working and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Contribute to the development of a technology-agnostic toolchain that supports Digital & IT’s transformation journey, focusing on delivering business value and enhancing operational efficiency.

Who You Are:
Possess extensive experience and a genuine passion for modern software development practices, particularly in the realm of DevSecOps.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach teams, driving continuous improvements and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Hands-on experience in implementing cloud-based applications, preferably in MS Azure, coupled with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and all phases of the modern Software Development Life Cycle.
Solid expertise in Azure Environment, with experience as a Scrum Master being advantageous.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, ELK, Slack, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ops, and Monitoring is beneficial.

Requirements:
Solid experience in modern IT applications and practices.
Must have mentoring and coaching experience.
Several years of working in an Agile environment.
Experience in continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and all phases of the modern Software Development Life Cycle.
Must have experience with Azure Environment, with Scrum Master experience being a plus.
Experience with Kubernetes, ELK, Slack, IaC, Ops, and Monitoring is advantageous.

Desired Skills:
Experience managing and building platforms for monitoring, logging, and tracing in Cloud/on-prem environments.
Working knowledge of Monitoring tools such as ELK, Azure Monitor, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenSearch.
Hands-on experience with logging and collecting logs from various data sources like Kubernetes Pods, EC2 instances using open-source agents.
Proficiency in building dashboards on ELK, Grafana, OpenSearch, and Splunk, focusing on monitoring and alerting based on logs and metrics.
Knowledge of managing Prometheus clusters integrated with Grafana as a centralized metric cluster, including pulling in traces from different services to Grafana Tempo.
Strong coordination and collaboration skills, facilitating a comprehensive Observability footprint across teams.
Familiarity with managing Splunk clusters, both on-prem and in-cloud solutions.
