Expert Electrical Engineer

Job scope
This position is part of our Engineering organization, in our Electrical & Electronics Engineering department. As a Lead/Expert Electrical Engineer you are responsible for electrical design for our systems, from start to finish of a product. I.e. from requirements gathering and definition, detailed design, testing and verification. You will collaborate closely with other engineering functions such as System and Mechanical Engineering.
Key responsibilities
•Electrical component (fuses, contactors, connectors etc.) selection, testing and validation
•Subsystem electrical design and component placement
•Wire harness detailed design
•3D routing of wire harness
•Lead the integration of electrical components and subsystems by working closely withhardware/power electronics and system engineering teams
•Ensure product robustness and reliability and support efforts to verify supplier quality

• Authorized to decide on investments according to role and policy.


Qualifications and experience
• Ms/Bs degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• +10 years of work experience within electrical and/or electronics engineering.
Specific skills
• Design and evaluate electrical systems, electronic circuit boards, components
• Hands on and troubleshooting expertise in electrical system
• Ability to lead development and define roadmap for our electrical subsystems andcomponents
