Export Control Advisor

Now we are looking for an Export Control Advisor. This person will be a part of the Customs and Export Compliance Team at Axis Headquarters in Lund, Sweden.

The Customs and Export Compliance team consists today of nine people, where three work with export control.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As an Export Control Advisor you will be part of the Export Control group and be responsible for the daily activities in the area of export compliance and licensing.

* Serve as primary point of contact for export control matters.
* Research and analyze ECCN classifications of commodities under both EU and US legislation.
* Assemble information required for license submittals, certifications, and determinations;
prepare, draft and submit export license applications.
* Conduct daily restricted party screenings.
* Develop and improve processes concerning Export Control both global and regional.
* Participate in Export Compliance training seminars and conferences, as well as giving internal trainings within the company.
* Work with Warehouse Managers to ensure export shipments are made according to instructions.
* Define and conduct export compliance internal audits within Axis group.
* Meet with Customs and Exports Authorities where needed and represent Axis.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a self-driven person who has a strategic long-term thinking, ability to manage activities on your own and a positive can-do attitude.

We believe you have:

* Several years' experience of export control.
* Detailed knowledge about, ECCN, EAR, RPS (restricted party screening), Embargo, Sanctions, and more…
* Experience from supply chains demanding ISP and/or BIS export licenses.
* Experience working in a global business environment.
* Communicative skills and enjoy interacting and collaborating with different people and cultures.
* A university degree in logistics, business or technology.
* Certified via trainings in Export Control Management
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with working in ERP systems.


Apart from the above you detailed oriented and analytical. You are fluent in English and Swedish.

SUPPLY CHAIN
The Supply chain organization in Axis has the Operational responsibility from suppliers to customers. Additionally, this organization handles Customs and Transport Logistics globally as well as Export Compliance. The organization is based in Lund, however, we have several partners around the world to managing the supply chain. There are also several interfaces with subsidiaries, customers and external partners.
