We are seeking a skilled professional to be part of our dynamic team responsible for ensuring compliance with Export Control laws and regulations. The focus of this small team is on understanding applicable laws and regulations and transforming them into actionable processes, tools and competencies across the company to effectively and efficiently secure compliance within our operations.

Export Control in our business context regulates trade with sanctioned and embargoed countries, in restrictive and sensitive products and, denied persons and companies, according to national and international laws. Controls and sanctions influence and impact different parts of Tetra Pak and must be integrated into business processes to ensure effective control and adherence.


The position will be located in Lund and report to the Export Control Director.


Main responsibilities

-Be updated on relevant Export Control laws and regulations and secure interpretation and consequence analysis for Tetra Pak's operations
-Translate laws and regulations into executable rules, directions and guidelines
-Leading, train and guide the business organisation to understand and handle consequences of laws and regulations
-Develop routines and processes to ensure effectiveness of execution
-Perform risk assessments, analysis and audits and implement corrective and preventive actions
-Identify and address knowledge gaps through training and knowledge sharing
-Monitor and respond to changes in the internal environment (e.g. organisational changes, business acquisitions etc.), evaluate the export compliance impact and create and work with the business to implement solutions
-Support import and export operations, including advice on classification of products, export licenses and authorisations and contracts with business partners


Qualifications

The position requires an Academic degree, ideally in Law, combined with sound working knowledge of and experience in UN, EU and US Export Control sanctions, laws and regulations. Experience in other regulated areas is an advantage.

You are structured and analytical with good communication skills. In order to succeed you will need experience within the field of Technical products and Supply Chain. You possess the ability to drive and own tasks with integrity while building trust in a diversified and demanding context. You need excellent written and verbal English skills.
