Export Coordinator
Customer Service is a unit within Volvo Car Corporation, responsible for the global aftermarket business, development and distribution of genuine parts, service- and repair methods and accessories. Our ambition is to be the most desired provider of parts, accessories and service to our Volvo dealers and customers and thereby contribute to creating the most exciting car experience for the customer. At Parts Supply & Logistics, you are part of a global team that makes sure that the cars we build meet the highest expectations from our customers. In close collaboration with people inside and outside the company, we drive and lead the supply chain - from the supplier to the customer - in a lean way. The logistics function is part of Customer Service and is responsible for the procurement, storage and distribution of spare parts and accessories to Volvo Cars customers throughout the world. This includes operational control of all Volvo-owned parts inventory, warehouse management and transportation, as well as the long-term development of the global logistics process. The business is built around a central warehouse in Gothenburg and China, as well as a number of supporting warehouses around the world.
Market Area Europe is responsible for distribution of spare parts and accessories from Central Distribution Centre and external distribution centers, including direct deliveries from suppliers and return flow within the area. The Order Office within MAE handles daily distribution issues and questions from the markets, National Sales Companies, Importers and transport companies within Market Area Europe (MAE) and consists of 9 employees and our vision is to give an excellent service to our customers both external and Internal.
Main responsibilities
* Order processing via the distribution system Parts Universal Logistic System (PULS)
* Processing of warehouse and transport invoices in SAPR3/SRM and monthly accruals
* Frequent market contacts on orders and delivery issues
* Contact with shippers and carriers for transport bookings
* Internal contacts with Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Inventory Management and other internal departments
* Management and follow-up of discrepancies
* Daily contact with Sales Companies and importers regarding issues related to orders, exports and discrepancies
* Handling of Customs related questions
* Coordination of TMS related issues for Market Area Europe
* Act as the departments' Dangerous Goods expert
* Working with continuous improvement of the departments processes
Required qualifications
* University degree and/or experience in similar positions
* Advanced skills in MS Office
* Experience from working with freight forwarding
* Experience from customer support and cost follow up
* Fluent in English and Swedish written and spoken
* Experience from working with Parts Universal Logistic System (PULS) is meritorious
* Knowledge of dangerous goods rules and packing instructions is meritorious
* Previous experience of working with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is meritorious
