Exterior and Structures Design Consultant

General requirements:
Design experience in surface modeling with Catia V5/V6
Experience in design of automotive panels, ducts, brackets, and structural components.
At least 4 years of experience in development for automotive market
Great engineering judgment
Quick turnaround time of tasks
Self-driven and adaptable
Ability to manage multiple task types and short time-frames
Knowledge of GD&T
Interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation and reports - self-organized.
Experience in PLM
Good communication skills
Fast learner
Professional level of English


Special Expertise:
Experience with the design of CFRP would be an advantage.
Experience with Tooling design would be an advantage.
Experience in Monitor ERP system


Responsibilities:
Creating 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using Catia V6
Support the release of product into production (PLM)
Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations
Organize and carry out tests to verify component function and requirements
Technical support leading to successful introduction into production
Estimating cost and time scopes for each part
Interaction with suppliers and technology providers
Collaborating with technical leads and other engineers in and outside of the team
