Our Exciting Opportunity
Ericsson is redefining the management of its external reputation, globally, and is now recruiting an experienced practitioner to support the delivery of Ericsson’s reputation management ambitions for sustainability and corporate responsibility !
Reporting to the Head of ER Strategy & Campaigns, the ER Manager: ESG will design and deliver an external communication and partner engagement strategy in support of the organisation’s responsible business priorities. People and culture topics including diversity and inclusion and building an ethics and compliance culture will also form a small part of the role portfolio.
Working closely day-to-day with the VP for Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility and her leadership team, the successful candidate will lead key elements of external programmes and campaigns and be a focal point for managing communications with partner organisations, message development for relevant partner groups and for key events in the annual engagement programme. The effective communications of sustainability performance and targets through the company website, social media channels and in formal reports will also form parts of the role responsibilities.
Internal partner relationships to the wider External Relations team, Coordinated Marketing (Global Campaigns), Employee Communications, Investor Relations and Government Relations will be key for success.

You will
Establish the communications plans to build higher profile for our sustainability, corporate responsibility and people communications topics and support the relevant business functions in getting cut through for a wide variety of programmes and projects that encompass the foundation of responsible business at Ericsson.

To be successful in the role, you have
8-10 years’ experience in corporate communications, in house or in consultancy.
Proven experience of developing strategy and integrated communications plans, alongside successful execution.
Thorough understanding of standard methodology measurement and campaign evaluation.
Evidence of crafting clear and creative solutions for sophisticated content that influences opinion in a range of earned channels.
Strong stakeholder leadership skills – within matrix organisations and external to the business environment.
Passion for current affairs, in particular the sustainability and social change agendas.
Demonstrable experience working with partners on topics related to climate action, diversity and inclusion, social-economic impact and corporate governance.
Experience of digital communications, management of web content and social media and the delivery of integrated campaigns.
Proficient in English with proficiency in written, presentational and influencing skills. Swedish and other language skills considered beneficial.
