We are looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join our Retail Development team.
The Retail Development department manages all new development and maintains Acne Studio's portfolio, including and not limited to real estate sourcing, design, construction and post opening life cycle maintenance. The Facilities & Maintenance Manager will report directly to the Head of Retail Development and work closely with the Retail Operations team to maintain the Acne Studios store and shop in shop environment.
This position is responsible for store environments in multiple locations, regions and markets globally. This is a highly collaborative position that require a strong team player as well as the ability to work flexibly under high pressure.
The position is based in Stockholm but will require travel to coordinate construction issues. The Retail Facilities Manager will manage the cost, quality, scope, and scheduling of repair for the portfolio of stores, all minor remodel projects and construction materials development.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage a centralized Facility Maintenance system and program and management after implementation.
• Assist in the continual development of the Retail Facility Maintenance program and the continued development of the store
• Work to tender, review, analyze, negotiate and maintain maintenance and repair agreements, contracts, and supply agreements for retail facilities
• Receive, analyze, prioritize, dispatch and monitor maintenance and repair service requests from stores and ensure repairs are completed
• Develop and manage relationships with external and internal service providers
• Actively monitor service vendor performance and make recommendations to management to make changes
• Prepare and process annual budgets for Store Maintenance and Facility Operations
• Partner with Retail Management to inspect properties and make appropriate recommendations for daily and annual maintenance needs
• Administer small works projects and minor store remodels that are assigned by management
• Manage department shipping and logistics coordination
• Support development and research of new construction materials and finishes, sampling and development of new finishes
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in Retail Facilities Management
• Experience in Luxury retail market
• Strong service attitude
• Knowledge of retail facilities, store construction processes and equipment including HVAC, elevators, lighting systems, structural, roofing and building structures
• Degree in Construction Management or similar MS Office including Excel
• Demonstrated strong organization skills with high attention to detail in a multi-tasked environment
• Ability to manage multiple, geographically diverse, concurrent projects
• Proven skills in establishing and maintaining budgets, schedules and deadlines, and in prioritizing and managing resources to accomplish goals
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in groups
