Job Description
As a Facility Leader you are passionate about service and enabling a great tenant experience with our vision to create a better everyday life for the many people. You will bring in good technical knowledge of facility management, knowledge in tender processes, knowledge in procurement and contract negotiations. It is a merit if you have knowledge in IKEA facility management standards, manuals, and rules as well as an interest or experience in outdoor/landscaping environments.
You will be responsible to make sure that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, coworkers, customers, and other stakeholders. Ensure that coworkers and external partners, when needed, have up to date awareness and understanding of all FM framework, guidelines, and initiatives.
Qualifications:
The Facility Leader will demonstrate good leadership capabilities including high commitment to business goals by thinking holistically, long term and driving towards expected benefits. In this role, we see that you possess good ability to plan and organize, are mindful of safety, quality, time, and budget and build trustful relationships with colleagues, tenants, and other stakeholders. You work towards improving and simplifying current ways of working and solving problems and dilemmas in line with IKEA key values. You will try to lead in the unknown and in change being proactive and a fact-based decision maker with the ability to prioritize, delegate and escalate.
You are experienced in all aspects of facility management and are dedicated to delivering reliable, efficient and seamless services. You have strong contract management skills and a solution focused mindset to resolve facility management related issues. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders comes naturally to you. Identifying opportunities and making recommendations to drive continuous improvement and cost saving is something you are passionate about. You work autonomously and take initiative to deliver set tasks.
Furthermore, you will possess:
· Minimum 3 to 5 years professional experience within facility management.
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Experience in working with budgeting, follow up, forecasting and reporting.
· Strong ability to build and maintain good relationships and stakeholder networks.
· Good computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications.
· Fluent in English, and Swedish, both spoken and written.
