Join Biolamina, a rapidly expanding company based in Sundbyberg, offering a one-of-a-kind product. Biolamina is presently looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Technology department as a Facility Manager.
Your role will involve ensuring the seamless functioning of our facilities and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking personal growth and the chance to make a substantial impact within the organization.
The role
As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all facility operations on-site. This includes serving as the primary point of contact for any facility-related issues with the landlord and ensuring that they are resolved in a timely manner. Additionally, you will take ownership of utility systems such as HVAC, gas stations, FMS, and water, ensuring their efficient functioning.
In this role, you will work closely with other departments to provide input on equipment needs and product requirements. You will also establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. Your responsibilities will also include:
• Keep track of service agreements and associated costs, and monitor expenses within budgetary guidelines.
• Oversee contracts for facility services, ensuring supplier compliance with clean room standards, electricity requirements, etc.
• Manage the procurement and installation of necessary equipment, parts, and materials.
• Coordinate new equipment installations and ensure compliance with our Quality system.
• Manage internal projects related to the facility.
• Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs) and records, documentation and instructions related to facility and equipment operations.
• Perform work in compliance with the BioLamina Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to the continuous development of the QMS.
• Full fill the role of fire protection officer, ensuring company compliance with fire safety legislation.
Qualifications
You have a strong sense of independence, with the ability to drive and deliver results based on the set strategy and operational plan. You have a proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and forward momentum. You also have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, and you are engaged in dialogues with individuals at all levels, gather information, and propose solutions.
• An academic degree (B.Sc. or higher) in Biochemistry, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, alternatively a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience working in a controlled production environment (such as GMP or similar) with clean room requirements.
• Ability to document requirement specifications and conduct risk analyses.
• Excellent skills in setting requirements, negotiation, and cost analysis.
• Strong coordination and project management skills.
• Familiarity with facility monitoring systems is advantageous, as the role involves primary contact with the supplier.
• Experience in facilities-related tasks and responsibilities, including support systems in a controlled environment (e.g., purified water).
