High Voltage Breakers is a business unit within Hitachi Energy located in Ludvika, Sweden. The unit has a worldwide responsibility for the development, production, and sales of Hitachi Energy high voltage breakers for both AC and DC power systems. High voltage breakers are an essential part of a reliable and energy efficient power grid.
We are now looking for a Factory Manager for the High Voltage Breakers unit. In this role you will manage all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Quality & Operational Excellence and Logistics.

Your responsibilities
Implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units.
Ensure that the factory is properly organized with clear roles and responsibilities.
Build an effective, capable and high performing organization with a clear purpose.
Develop your people and lead by empowerment and trust.
Strive for diversity of thought to conquer todays and tomorrow’s challenges.
Implement the global business unit and product group manufacturing strategy.
Ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations/project execution and share functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
Develop proactive strategies to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
Drive quality improvement through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking to continuously improve processes.
Drive the transformation and continuous improvement with a positive mindset. Look for the opportunities and build on the chances.
Deliver operational/project targets (e.g. ROTD, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS).

Your background
You hold a University Degree in Engineering or similar.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role of manufacturing unit.
Expertise and knowledge from managing production plans, Lean certifications, and similar mindset.
The role requires great leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Since you will work in a global environment, fluency in English is required, both written and spoken.
