Scania is building a new factory and R&D organisation in China to increase capacity and move development closer to the Chinese customer. We are in the starting blocks of building a support organisation for the Chinese test vehicles in Södertälje, and for making the setup complete we need somebody with a passion for failure analysis and a great interest and understanding of our vehicles.

Role description
In this role, you will be part of a team focusing on uptime for our test vehicles. As a fault code and data analyst, you analyze and investigate fault codes appearing during testing. You use log data and fault codes to look for connections, draw conclusions and provide guidance to the responsible R&D development team based on that. It is for example not unusual to see fault codes generating a chain reaction in other systems.

Furthermore, you will learn how to create and verify configuration files based on log needs specified by the development team, as well as how to install and troubleshoot the loggers and ensure the log data quality.

The job requires close collaboration with the responsible R&D development team and your observations and conclusions will play an important role in the problem-solving and root cause analysis.

Your profile
You possess a sound analytical ability, hands-on skills, and broad vehicle knowledge. You are a curious and driven person, with a good ability to create and maintain a broad network. The job requires you to be structured, service-minded, and to get stuff done. Your ninja skill is to connect the dots!

We believe that you have a Bachelor's or Master of Science degree and previous experience in software development, electronics, or mechatronic development at Scania. You probably have good knowledge of the Scania E/E system. It is meritorious with previous experience from analysis of mlog data or similar.

You communicate fluently in English. Swedish and Chinese language is meriting.
