For this role we are looking for someone with a genuine passion for engineering the best vehicles in the world. You will be working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company, leading the way in the hypercar business. You’ll work alongside accomplished, world-renowned engineers on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today.
As a FEA engineer at Koenigsegg you will work on various analyses within the field, although this role is more towards crash and passive safety. You will join a small team working in a fast-paced environment with short decision paths.
As a person you work well both in teams and on your own. You are ambitious, curious and have a genuine passion for technology and vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Building FEA models of sub systems and complete vehicle
- Define and optimize Lay-ups of CFRP parts
- Method/Process development
- Planning physical tests and calibration of the results
- Perform simulations and analyze crash/strength/stiffness performance
- Communicate results, conclusions and provide insights for design changes
Need to have
- M.Sc. in relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of experience with FEA in crash applications
- Advanced skills in LS-Dyna
- Advanced skills in Ansa/Meta
- Experience in analyzing composite structures
- Experience in the Automotive industry
- Knowledge of FMVSS and ECE standards and regulations
- Experience from Formula Student is meritorious
- Fluent in English
