Our team is responsible for all improvements done to the HD11 Powertrain products, we are a diverse and experienced team working together to deliver and synchronizing all powertrain development activities. We belong to Complete Powertrain organization in Sweden who has the full worldwide product platform responsibility for Volvo’s heavy duty powertrains and of the installation in European Volvo Products.

Role description
In this role you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, follow-up and deliver feature improvement activities within one or several engines/powertrains. Building complete solutions that balance fuel consumption, emissions, performance and other features. You will work in pre-determined features and drive activities to improve the product.
There will also be some tasks related to Calibration lead for customer projects included in the role. Such as to follow up with calibration teams on customer requests of change and their impacts. To identify changes required to carry over to customer dataset and to secure the maturity status of the data sets. And also to do dataset transfer of new labels and to coordinate change logs.
Who are you?
We believe that for you to be successful in the position you should have the following skills/experience:
MSc or equivalent.
Preferably several years of engine development experience (within Volvo Powertrain is a plus)
Strong customer focus to build the best end products for drivers and owners.
Deep technical understanding of the product to be able to balance the needs.
Creative, structured and analytical.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
