As one of the fastest growing food-tech companies in the EU, we are excited to expand our team with a fermentation scientist to work with our R&D and Product Development departments. This is a new position that we are opening up as our R&D and Product Development departments see the potential in adding this skillset to our team.



Who are we?

We are a biotechnology company that work in the foodtech and alternative protein market. Our product is Promyc, a sustainably produced, vegan mycoprotein that we are producing and developing in our facilities in Gamlestaden, Sweden. Since our founding in 2017, we have grown from a lab scale to a pilot-production facility and to a team of 18 people.

We are passionate about what we do and if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a supportive and engaged team and get excited by the prospect of finding solutions in tough situations, you will feel right at home with us.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

- Have an MSc or PhD in biotechnology, microbiology, fermentation or similar fields
- Have experience from using liquid bioreactors and fermentation technology
- Good skills in managing projects and writing scientific articles


What will you do?

As the main responsible for the development of our fermentation technology, you will be:

- Managing and conducting applied research and innovation projects
- Running iterative tests and experiments to optimise and stabilise our fermentation processes
- Writing patents and technical documentation
