NitroCapt AB is a Swedish greentech company that has invented a new highly efficient, fossil-free chemical process for production of nitrogen fertilizers. These fertilizers account for close to 2,5% of the world's CO2-emissions and we can help to solve this. The process has a number of unique properties and may become market-disruptive. The company is listed as one of the 33 hottest innovation companies in Sweden 2022, atop 10 of Nordic cleantech companies 2021 and winner of Startup4Climate in 2023. The plan is now to create a high-performance, multidisciplinary team of engineers/researchers that, together with leading research partners around Europe, will build a pilot plant in a first step and then upscale it to commercial production facilities.
Position Summary
You will be responsible for the development of the fertilizer products of NitroCapt. You will work closely with our process engineers, agronomists and suppliers. You will
Develop product formulations for liquid and granular fertilizer products
Identify relevant raw materials
Define end-product production processes
Define and implement end-product quality standards and quality control
Join hands with the marketing and sales team for technical sales support


The position is at the NitroCapt headquarter at Green Innovation Park at the SLU campus in Uppsala, Sweden.

Qualifications:
Relevant MSc level (or higher) education in chemical engineering or equivalent
Strong experience in product formulation, product development and material sourcing.
Experience in developing product quality protocols and procedures
Experience in project management of product development projects
Experience in balancing technical and economic product performance
Backgrund in fertilizers and granulation is a merit
