Field Account Manager to Sartorius, Greater Copenhagen, Øresundregion
About the position
We are looking for a Field Account Manager, who will become part of Sartorius’ Bioprocess Division’s Key Account Management team, covering Denmark and Sweden. In this position, you will be responsible for driving growth and for building and maintaining effective relationships, within assigned key customer accounts. This is a home-based position in Denmark or South of Sweden.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
• Promote the organization's products and services within your key accounts, to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy.
• Actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace.
• Proactively follow up on implementation of sales activities.
• Assess and analyze customer needs.
• Generate leads, respond to customer inquiries, and suggest products and services as appropriate.
• Support customer requirements in supply and quality, in close alignment with internal teams.
• Manage and build critical sustainable relationships with relevant customer stakeholders for long term partnerships.
• Develop and implement account plans and request and coordinate resources in line with the account plans.
• Work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account.
• Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a university degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or similar relevant field.
To be successful in this role we imagine that you bring the following experience:
• Some experience from the Biopharmaceutical, Biotech or Life Science Industry.
• Proven understanding of bioprocessing. Knowledge in fermentation, filtration and purification technologies is a plus.
• Experience in similar positions within the industry is beneficial.
• Experience working cross-functionally and with international teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation skills and solid business acumen.
