Sartorius has a great opportunity for a technically minded biotechnology professional to join a dynamic team and support our customers to implement, optimise and trouble-shoot the use of Sartorius bioprocessing products in the manufacture of life-saving drugs. You will have 2-4 years’ experience working in a technical function (Manufacturing Science, Process Engineering, Process/Equipment Validation, Application Support or Operations) in an biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical company, ideally in a regulated or GMP environment; or hold a Masters’ degree or PhD in a life sciences subject.
You should have upstream experience, specifically cell-expansion, cell culture and /or fermentation and experience of single-use technologies; ideally at an industrial scale.
For this position we are looking for candidates in mid/south of Sweden or Denmark. You will be Home office based and the job includes travel to customers in the Nordics up to 60%. Flexibility required
What you will accomplish together with us
Utilize your expert knowledge to effectively position Sartorius solutions and capabilities, including product presentations and product demonstrations.
Provide active participation in regional marketing initiatives.
Provide process and product training to customers in the biopharmaceutical industry
Provide active participation in regional marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with scientists in the biopharmaceutical industry and jointly execute product trials to demonstrate the capability to meet specific application needs.
Analyzing and further optimize processes together with our clients
Cooperate with FAS from other disciplines to help our customers to improve their process end to end.
Assist the sales team to understand customers applications and processes to define pragmatic strategies to further enhance customers` support.
Support the development of strong relationships with accounts within the assigned sales territory in order to follow up and develop new opportunities.
Train the sales team on technology and product updates.
What will convince us
Bachelor's degree in biological engineering or life sciences.
2+ Years biopharmaceutical industry experience, R&D/PD/Scale-up/GMP preferred.
PhD /Master’s Degree considered where applicant has no industrial experience.
Additional Requirements:
Theoretical and practical expertise in cell culture, bioreactor, upstream bioprocessing.
Hands on experience with single-use technologies as bags, mixers, connections/disconnections for media preparation is beneficial.
Interface with product/project/division management.
General understanding of the phases of equipment and process validation.
Knowledge of project management principals.
Interact at various levels (sales, technical, users).
Multi-task and prioritize activities accordingly.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Computer proficient in Windows-based software package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management software
Excellent English skills and | or good knowledge of one or more foreign languages.
