Field Engineer

To expand our business, we are now looking to hire a Field Engineer to our office in Stockholm. You will be part of the company's Delivery team, which today consists of 6 team members.

Main responsibilities:

Your primary tasks will be to install, calibrate, service and maintain our Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) systems. You will also provide remote technical support, and educate operators in the use of our TEMs. In order to ensure that the instruments and services meet our quality demands, you will be involved in the development of internal tools and procedures for example: maintenance, calibration and qualification.

The role will involve both domestic and international travel (50-75%).

You will report to the Delivery Manager.

To succeed you need:

- A minimum of 2 years work experience with high precision analytical instruments in a laboratory environment
- A strong interest in science and engineering
- A problem-solving mindset
- To be self motivated and structured
- Ability to travel internationally without hindrance
- Feel comfortable with installing, configuring PC hardware and Windows 10 OS
- Using the MS Office suite (Excel in particular)
- Valid driver’s license
- To be fluent in English (written and spoken)

Meritorious skills and experience:

- Electron microscopes
- Training others in the use of analytical instruments
- Using different tools for calibration, test and measurements
- Troubleshooting and repair of electronics and mechanics
- SQL database management, Remote access, anti-virus solutions
- Back-office CRM/Issue management systems in particular JIRA
- Other language proficiencies
