Field & in-house service technician with sales function

We are looking to expand our team with an extremely independent, reliable, competent and responsible field and in-house service technician.
Our group of companies sell, repair and service mainly welding and cutting equipment, both in the form of smaller portable equipment as well as stationary automated solutions such as robots and CNC-controlled machines. In addition to this we also take on repair of any other types of electric and mechanical equipment, such as for example power tools, diesel generators, high pressure washers, levelling machines, press brakes, electric motors etc.
You are a handy kind of person who is not afraid to take on tasks that you have never done before and you have the skill and experience necessary to obtain a successful result and a happy customer.
I our organisation everyone is responsible for their own economic results, so it is important that you understand the basic concepts of corporate finance and understand that your salary comes from the turnover and profit that you generate. As an example, you are responsible for selling our service concept to existing customers as well as targeting and winning new potential customers. You will also learn about the products we sell and demonstrate them to potential customers.
The work is carried out partly on site at our customers’ premises located from Trelleborg in the south to Kiruna in the north. Partly it is carried out in-house in our workshop located in Eslöv.
You are also responsible for handling all customer contacts relating to service, as well as ordering of spare parts, order management, invoicing, and spare parts stock.
Other duties of this position includes helping out in our shop with sales of welding and cutting equipment. You will also need to help in packing outgoing orders, expediting orders and invoicing.
This position requires heavy lifting and sometimes working in uncomfortable positions so it is important that you are in good physical shape.
We have high demands on efficiency, competence, availability, reliability and order. We are hard working and we demand that all team members are equally hard working. Ability to work independently and with initiative is absolutely necessary.

B-class (car) driver’s license is mandatory.
