Position
Field Product Specialist Engine and Software_ Global Tech Support Volvo and Deutz engine, mainly for Wheel Loaders / Excavator / Articulator Hauler
Function
Provide field technical support to regions and dealers in all markets for Wheel Loaders/Excavator/Articulator Hauler
Key responsibility
- Manage technical support for Wheel Loaders / Excavator / Articulator Hauler
- Show the difference in deliveries is direct support to markets in case of machine down which couldn?t be resolved by dealer and region
- Trace the cause of problems and failures independently and if necessary, also can perform a mechanic job at a supreme level.
- Be special correspondent between site and office
- Be GTS Early Warning Team /SWAT member for on site failure inspection of new launched machines
- Be partner to dealer mechanic
- Secure that R&D, Operation and regions receive all necessary support
Job description
On site
- On site trouble shooting and eliminate technical failure as fire fighter in urgent case
- On site in-depth failure inspection and deliver all information to relevant stakeholders, RTS, GTS, PM, FQA and TP/TnPO in the process
- Support field test on machine with improved solution, solution validation perspective
- Do training toward dealer or customer on mechanic/ machine set-up & operation works when requested
- Technical support in product set up for different (specific) application
- Technical support in operation for different (specific) application
On office
- Do indexing of Techline calls in the system
- Help GTS team out to exchange technical knowledge and field experience in between
- Technical support in usage of special attachments/application
- Be a member of Service Reference Group meeting
- Be a member of New Product Development Project, Global Tech Support perspective

In this position you will report to Manager VCE Global Technical Support, Wheel Loader L60-350. The location of this position is Eskilstuna, Sweden.
Experience and qualifications:
- Preferred in Engineering area such as the mechanics, electric and electronics
- Minimum of five years relevant industry experience with a good technical understanding of construction machinery or similar
- Good communication skills and an ability to interact with people on all levels
- Ability of problem solving and analysis in an analytical and structured manner
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrix environment
- Good skills in written and spoken English is a must
- Travel required. Around 30-40% of working time. No restriction on the overseas business trip.
