Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer you will have a key role in providing technical service to our Market Companies and end customers.You will work independently in an international setting where you constantly meet new people and cultures.For the right candidate there is a possibility for further progress within the area.

Tetra Pak Carton Gable Top within Development & Engineering is now looking for a Field Service Engineer with the responsibility to provide and maintain good service and support to our Market Companies on our filling machines and distribution equipment.

Main responsibilities in this position include:
- Assist our Market Companies, on site, with the installation/decommissioning/troubleshooting of filling machines and distribution equipment
- Provide expertise for support on Carton Gable Top filling and distribution equipment
- Audit and drive performance improvement projects
- Act as ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company's reputation for commitment and service world wide
- Act as a mentor to other service engineers who may be unfamiliar with our equipment
- Participate in product development projects and develop maintenance systems


Kvalifikationer

Since the position involves travelling at customer sites, you need to be able to work independently and have the capacity to interact with people having different cultures.You often take a teaching role and it is therefore important that you can listen well and that you are pedagogical.You are proactive and have good personal drive and we believe you take a long term perspective in solving problems or identifying improvements.Good communication and analytical skills together with an ability to work well under pressure will increase the possibilities to be successful in this position.

You have a couple of years experience from mechanical troubleshooting.Experience from Tetra Pak filling and distribution equipment and prior teaching experience is a merit.Preferably you have achieved a university degree within the mechanical or electrical area, and you possess very good automation skills.You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.The position requires travelling around 150 days per year on average.
