We are now seeking to fill the position for a Field Service Engineer, Based in Uppsala/North Stockholm.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will have a very varied working environment and be the face of Waters meeting customers every day. You will work independently in the field but also be part of a very engaged team, with a strong focus on supporting fellow team members.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will carry out routine maintenance, emergency repairs, installations, training and general technical support for users of Waters LC/MS Systems primarily in Sweden but also the rest of the Nordics. You will also act in a pro-active manner to assist Sales to identify and develop business potential for LC/MS and continue to develop product/software knowledge as the role demands.

You will play a key role in making Waters customers successful, and deliver high quality service and support.
Your Responsibilities are:
- Perform installations, Performance Maintenance, repairs, upgrades, qualifications and training for customers
- Effective fault finding in areas of chemistry, mechanics and electronics
- Effectively manage own calls, administration and inventory
- Follow Waters routines with an emphasis on quality
- High focus on customer success and customer experience
- Work effectively with cross functional teams and cross border
- Additional tasks when and where business demands

Utbildning/erfarenhet
To qualify for this role, you have a degree level in an engineering discipline, or equivalent level of experience.
Life Science and/or chemical experience is favorable.

The person we are looking for is a good communicator with a high level of customer focus and have drive and engagement to develop. You also have a keen interest and methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving.

For this position, you must hold a current passport and be prepared to travel abroad at short notice not only during working hours but also occasionally at weekends. This role require that you travel nation-wide, spending several consecutive nights away from home as needed.
You must also hold a valid driving license.

Fluent in written and spoken English is required.
