Job description
As a Field Service Engineer based in the Copenhagen area, working for industry leader Tecan Nordic, you'll join a global team of engineers that are committed to ensuring Tecan’s professional service. This role gives you lots of freedom to plan your week, where you will shift between assignments in maintenance, installation and urgent breakdowns, for our customers who utilize our scientific instrumentation and software. We promise that you will have the opportunity to constantly grow your knowledge, working with technically challenging products that are in the forefront and keep on developing.
You will join a closely knit team, who has a great team spirit and share knowledge. There is an office in Copenhagen, but you are free to have a home office as your base when not out at customer sites. Most assignments are in the Copenhagen area, but some lay overs are required from time to time.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
Execution of repairs, installations, problem diagnosis, preventive maintenance
Training of new and existing customers on the use and maintenance of our systems (Hard- and Software)
Diagnosing of errors or technical problems and determination of proper solution
Sharing of information obtained from unique problems or specialized trainings with the rest of your team
Documentation of service actions according to industry standards
Qualifications
To thrive and be happy in this role, we see that you bring the following knowledge and experience:
A university degree within for example engineering or natural science or equivalent working experience
Excellent communication skills in Danish and English (B2 minimum)
A valid driver´s license
We will see it as a great merit if you have previous experience working as a Service engineer or in a role working with instruments in a lab. Especially if this experience is within the pharma or med tech industry. Experience with liquid handling automation or manual pipetting are also a plus. And knowledge in programming.
We believe that you have strong analytical and problem solving skills and a great customer centric focus. You are driven, curious and have the interest in being a continuous learner, especially in the field of technical development. We also see that you communicate easily and that you finish what you started.
