Summary
Do you always have a customer-oriented mindset and high technical skills in medical instrument or electro-mechanics? You can be our next member in the Technical Service team in Sweden, based in Lund. As a Technical Services Field engineer you will be responsible to perform service activity on our electromechanical medical devices.
The work is carried out in all Nordic countries, but this position is focused on southern Sweden and Denmark. Since it requires field service a certain amount of travelling will be natural.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install, service, maintain, upgrade or execute Field Corrective Actions on electromechanical medical devices as per defined service requirements and customer contractual agreements in the defined area of responsibility.
Connect devices to a facility’s wireless or wired network. Manage, trouble shoot, and help resolve lower-level device integration and network connectivity problems. Work with colleagues and customer for installation and problem solving.
Monitor device status and perform necessary upgrades whether in-person or via remote capabilities.
Report all relevant service activity in the service systems and applicable datasheets, to ensure updated and accurate service data.
Produce and maintain timely and accurate content in knowledge management database per guidelines.
Establish, maintain communication & partnership with customers, team members and business contacts.
Provide customer telephone support.
Facilitate/ensure development of service packages to defined accounts supporting achievements of the area sales targets.
Qualifications
A technical degree in relevant area
Experience as service engineer within the medical device sector is an advantage.
IT knowledge on general basis
Good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
Proven troubleshooting skills
Good customer facing skills
Experience with Microsoft and common reporting and analysis tools.
Knowledge of Quality System and GDP/GMP requirements
