Alfa Laval Nordic, our Nordic sales company, is seeking a new Field Service Engineer, with a good mechanical understanding and a solid working knowledge within automation and process optimization. The job entails support and problem solving at customer sites, and it is expected that you are capable to set the customer first. You will primarily work with our rotating equipment decanters and high speed separators.
About the job
* Preventive maintenance of supplied equipment and machines
* Repair and service according to customer requirements
* Support to customers and general technical support
* Troubleshooting and adjustments to equipment and machines
* Start-up and commissioning of machinery and process plants
* Training of process operators at customer site
* Optimization of plant and equipment
Service jobs will be done primarily in Sweden however, support can also be in other Nordic countries. You will be out serving our customers so expected overnight stays will be around 75-100. You will be based at home.
Who are you?
* You have an electrical and/or process technical background
* Experience with industrial control systems, motors, machines, and PLC systems.
* You preferably have some technical background and good mechanical skills
* Mechanical Hands-on experience with Heavy equipment or heavy vehicles is an advantage
* You are proficient working with computers
* You speak and write Swedish and English
* You preferably live in southern Sweden, Jönköping and below.
