Field Service Evaporation Engineer

Valmet Evaporation Service is now looking for a Field Service Evaporation Engineer to our Gothenburg office. We are located at Lindholmen, close to the beautiful riverside in Gothenburg.
Valmet in Gothenburg is active in the supply of Recovery boilers, Evaporation plants and LignoBoost plants together with various support systems to the Pulp and Paper industry as well as environmentally friendly Power boilers for demanding fuels.
Your main task will be to perform field service work for rebuilds and upgrades of Evaporation plants to the Pulp industry. You will work with sales and customer order projects. In sales projects you will be involved in the process and equipment design. In customer order projects you will participate in plant operation and performance audits and inspections of the plants.
We work closely together with our market areas, hence international contacts and travelling will be frequent, e.g. during plant maintenance revision-stops.
The ultimate target is to achieve a satisfied customer with profitable operation of the Valmet equipment.
Who are you?
To be successful in this position you are a graduated Engineer with a major in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar. You will also need 3-5 years of experience from working as a Field Service engineer. Very good skills in English, verbally and in writing is essential, other languages could be a merit.
As a person you are innovative. You like to learn new things and like to present technical solutions to an audience. You are a team player but also able to find your own paths, both at work and when out travelling. You are used to collaborate with different kind of people, and you can keep your customer service mindset also in challenging situations.
