What you´ll do:
Own operational processes and service delivery within your sub-region managing a range of Key Process Indicators including but not limited to : Customer DownTime, PM completion, First Time Fix, Customer Satisfaction , Applied time, FE utilization.
In partnership with Service and Hardware colleagues own the commercial growth of your sub-region by developing strong customer relationships through the delivery of world class customer asset support
Direct line responsibility for the positive leadership of a team of highly qualified Field Service Engineers including coaching & career development
Lead and cultivate a culture of integrity and transparency
Ensure appropriate Field Engineer coverage and highlight contingencies
Ensure technical excellence & compliance in the field
Build & leverage relationship with internal stakeholders to enhance business performance and customer experience, cooperate closely with commercial functions to understand sales funnel for equipment in order to ensure proactive service planning
Swift engage to ensure all site / field issues that hinder FEs in delivering customer satisfaction are quickly and compliantly escalated, addressed and recorded via CCM
Through the application of DBS techniques drive a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency
Involve into commercial discussions to create tailor-made service solutions for large service projects
Accountable for positive leadership of direct reports to include ongoing direction, coaching and career development.
Conduct “ridealongs” with Field Service Engineers to ensure a deep understanding of daily actions, provide coaching, physical inventory & audit support.
Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in a life-science or technical related field or in economics, alternatively several years of experience as a senior-level field service engineer
Exemplary people management & leadership skills as well as coaching & team building skills
Demonstrated remote leadership skills
Fluent in relevant local language and English paired up with passion and ability to work in a multi-culture working environment, additional language is a plus
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within relevant geography (within COVID guidelines)
Open-minded and able to work in a horizontal matrix organization
Strong negotiation skills
Well balanced mix of technical, problem solving and commercial mindset
Strong influencing and persuading skills, ability to inspire and motivate others
