Are you passionate about technical service and developing others?
Field Service Operations is responsible for execution of all field service related activities, resource management and competence development of Field Service Engineers and will manage all planning of resources through Central Planning and Service Administration being part of field Service Operations.
You have a good understanding and solid experience of service business and products and are truly Customer oriented. You have a technical background, demonstrated leadership abilities and you are achievement orientated.
The Field Service Operations - the team leader will work in close cooperation with Customers, Field Service Operations area manager, Central Planner and TKAMs with focus on customer and employee satisfaction. You will report to the Field Service Operations area manager. The position will be based in Sweden, Lund
Main responsibilities
- Manage a team of Field Service Engineers whilst remaining part time operational working on assignments in the field
- Driving for employee engagement, employee satisfaction, technical improvements, high performance and utilisation
- Provide overall leadership, expertise, advice and consultancy for solving technical escalated issues
- Manage resources with regards to individual and team performance in accordance with set targets
- Manage and develop personnel in line with global processes and tools.
- Drive competence development for your team
- Educate, coach, support and share experience
with colleagues and customers
- Contact person for customer inquiries within your area
Qualifications
- Techical/engineering education, preferably at University level or similar
- 5-10 years of work experience as Field Service Engineer
- Knowledge in processing and food safety
- High level of mechanical and electrical competence
- High level of analytical problem solving methodology, a good understanding of service business, service products and customers needs
- People management experience is an advantage
- Self driven, highly motivated and independent personality
- Excellent negotiation skill and informal authority to motivate and influence people at all levels
- Good English command both verbal and written
- Willingness to travel
