Never heard of Nexus? No worries, we are a company who excels even though you don’t see our logos everywhere. If you have used a student ID to get in to an event, worked at a construction site or have had to identify yourself with a smart card at work, the chance is pretty high that you have used one of our products. We are securing society by enabling trusted identities, and we now need to strengthen our team of Service technicians.
Nexus is the Number One provider of Smart cards in Sweden, we produce a lot of those cards our self, but we also provide printers for customers who need the possibility to print the cards in-house. Those printers need some love from time to time and we need a Service technician who wants to help us support our fantastic costumers.
You will be based at our HQ at Telefonplan in the south of Stockholm, but most days you will be travelling to our customers all around the region.
What will you be doing at Nexus?
So, what will you be doing at Nexus? The short version is that you will be part of the team that provide support for our printer hardware, both on-site at the customer but also in-house (some customers send us their printers for service).
You will be responsible for “your own” customers within the region, plan the support for the hardware and ensure customer satisfaction by following up on the customers.
This is a role with a lot of own responsibility, but you will always have help from the team. We have check-ins and you will submit weekly report of progress and planned visits. You will also give support to our customers via phone and email and it should not matter how you interact with the customers, you will always give them the same great service!
As you sure already have figured out, this position demands a lot of travels (mostly within Mälardalen) and sometime you will be required to stay away overnight. Most days you will work regular working hours though.
Who are you?
As a Service technician you will be one of the members at Nexus with the most customer contact, therefor it’s important that you are a people person and like to talk to customers. This is not a sales role, but you have a mindset where it’s natural for you to talk to the costumers about their solutions and to make sure they have the right solutions. Most of our customers are Swedish and therefor it’s important that you are fluent in Swedish, and because we are a global organization you need to be unhindered in English as well.
As long as you have some experience as a service technician in any field you will learn our printers when you start and we want you to have a couple of years of experience as a Service technician, but it can be from other industries and technologies.
An absolute must is a driving license (B).
As a person you take pride in what you do and you enjoy meeting people. You like to structure you work yourself and are meticulous and care for the details. You have no problem spending your days in the car, driving between customers and using the phone as a work tool.
