Field test and integration specialist

Who is your future team?
The Sales training and Competitive Field Test team, within the Product Introduction Management play a key role in supporting our Global Sales organization and develops, builds and delivers compelling and comprehensive sales support material to inspire, teach and motivate the sales personnel. The material is delivered through a multitude of channels, including online trainings, webinars and technical and sales training sessions in front of live audiences. Testing and analyses of Axis vs. competitor products is an important part of the content. The team consists of three people focusing on competitive filed tests and eight Product Introduction Managers.

What you'll do as Field Test and Integration Specialist?
Test and evaluate equipment and analytics software for the surveillance industry, both Axis and competitor products. The tests are made in the environments and conditions the products are designed for. This means you will utilize Axis off premises test sites, but also go to other locations to make temporary installations and tests. The findings and results can range from the product packaging, the physical installation phase, set up and configuration or usage. The test scope can vary a lot, from a comparison of two cameras, to an installation of a complete surveillance system. You will co-operate with the team members, but also with other parts of product management, marketing and R&D. The work will be planned together with the team lead and coordinated with other stakeholders.

The position also includes communication of the test results e.g. in power point slides, or a video with you in front of the camera, demonstrating and explaining.

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We expect that you are a hands-on person, a doer, experienced with technology and confident in installing and configuring digital devices. You have probably worked as a field engineer before and have both a theoretical and a practical skillset, like how to drive a car with a trailer and handle a boom lift.

You need to be a good communicator, a team player and have the curiosity, courage, and ability to explore new ground. We believe that you have several years of experience from the surveillance market and that you are familiar with network surveillance products.
