Tetra Recart is looking for a Filling technologist to secure and improve the portfolio of filling solutions that we offer our customers. The position offers the possibility to work in an innovative and result oriented team within the D&E organisation.

Automation & Line equipment is a part of the Tetra Recart D&E organisation and we have the role to support development and customer projects with competences within Automation, Line equipment, Filling and Thermal process technology. In the area of filling we translate the needs of our customers to requirement specifications to filling solution suppliers.


Main responsibilities

- Participate in development projects introducing new or improved filling solutions into the TRC packaging system by using the knowledge of food properties and behaviour in industrial food pre-processing, transportation and filling. Cooperate with Line equipment engineers and 3 party suppliers to find the best solutions.
- Support our sales organisation with filling technology expertise and sample analysis in order to recommend filling solutions in customer projects.
- Prepare, perform and analyse tests of food and ingredients for filling purposes.
- Follow regulatory and market demands on declared weight in packages to build
knowledge for recommendation of filling targets.
- Develop and maintain methods for filling validation in development environment and industrial scale.


Qualifications

To be successful in this position you need to be a self-motivated person with a drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization and also to deliver result. You have great networking skills and an ability to work across borders.

You have a University degree within food technology or a Master of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in food technology. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.

You also have at least 5-10 years work experience from filling solutions from the food industry.
