GENERAL PRESENTATION MSF Sweden is a respected and visible actor for humanitarian principles and action in the Swedish civil society, with a strong presence in media.MSF Sweden was founded by Swedish doctors in 1993.As a partner in the international MSF movement, MSF Sweden exists to assist populations in danger by recruiting medical and non-medical fieldworkers, by raising funds and by raising awareness and provoke change through the act of temoignage (bear witness), or advocacy.Since its foundation, the Swedish section has grown at an impressive rate.In 2008, the Swedish section had 105 departures of field workers to the field.A board consist of nine national and two international members and represents the association.The office of MSF Sweden consists of 28 full-time positions and around 50 committed office volunteers.MISSION AND NATURE OF THE POSITION Assist the Office Management Department with matters regarding HR (payroll), accounting and general administration.MAIN ACTIVITIES -Administrate the salaries for MSF Sweden -Accounting and assistance to the Finance Controller -Being able to take on the role as Receptionist DUTIES HR (40%) -Manage the MSF salary software (HogiaLön+) Prepare salaries for every month for all office employees and follow up that every employee hand in his/hers time registration.-Prepare Field-workers salaries (to be paid by the 15th every month) -Prepare all office employees contracts -Make sure that Hogia is updated properly with vacation and overtime and to send reports to all Head of Departments at the end of the month -Send "Skattedeklaration" (Tax Declaration) to the Swedish Tax authorities every month -Prepare and check "kontrolluppgifter" to be sent to the Swedish tax authorities (once per year) -Fill in necessary HR statistics required by SCB Finance (40%) -Registration of invoices and bookkeeping as directed by the Finance Controller -Perform monthly reconciliation of the accounts -Provide monthly figures for the monthly budget follow up -Provide monthly figures for the in monthly finance follow up figures to be sent to OCB and the international office -Assist Head of Finance and Finance Controller when structuring the internal control system in the office -Assist the Finance Controller during the Annual Reporting Admin (20%) -Backstop Receptionist at high workload and step in when the receptionist is absent -Assist the Office Manager with various tasks in the Office Management Department JOB REQUIREMENTS (Competences) -Degree in Finance and/or Staff Management (lägst Gymnasiekompetens) -Experience of similar job assignments -Good organisational skills -Good interpersonal/social skills -Basic IT skills and good knowledge of MS Word and Excel -English/Swedish fluently written and spoken -The ability to work individually as well as within a team -Ability to work under pressure against deadlines VALUABLE -University Education in Finance and/or Staff Management -Knowledge of: +HogiaLön+ software +Pyramid Business Studio software +Reception work For questions please use the e-mail address stated.We have limited possibilities to answerer questions concerning this position via telephone.
