I Sverige marknadsför Mercedes-Benz person-, transport- och lastbilar. Det nya huvudkontoret flyttar till Dockan i Malmö under hösten 2008. Main purpose of the role: Ensure effective daily operation, processes and methodical management reporting in order to provide accurate financial information with the aim of managing the Company effectively combined with fulfilling the compliance requirements. Also: - indirect procurement i.e -to develop a new procurement strategy -to build up new procurement processes -to integrate a new procurement system in connection with SSC -to coordinate the procurement function with HQ Develop, manage and position the Corporate Accounting & Controlling department within the company with respect of HQ guidelines, business needs and local specific needs with clear focus on planning, coordination and prioritisation of the resources. Insure that monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, forecasts and plan, are prepared on a consolidated level for each country from a MPC legal point of view as well from a wholesale fixed cost distribution point of view, meeting local legal requirements and HQ guidelines. Assist with various ad hoc analyses up on request from the HQ, CFO, or other internal business partners. Identify, highlight and minimise risk from a financial, process and business point of view. The role requires very good knowledge of the principles and concepts of finance & also procurement requirements typically based on an academic degree and at least 4 to 6 years of experience from relevant roles in an international organisation, or an equivalent mix of experience and training. Business knowledge: You will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of own function, regionally and globally. You will also have a very good understanding of how own area contributes to reach common goals and aims of the company. Requires good problem-solving skills, critical information seeking and evaluative judgements based on analysis of factual and partly qualitative information. Conceptual thinking will be required in terms of approach and frame for problem solving, thereby balancing qualitative aspects with business perspectives.
