The Group Finance Application team is responsible for managing and developing the SKF Corporate Performance Management (CPM) system used primarily for planning and consolidating the SKF financial reporting but which is currently also expanding outside the traditional Finance areas.

We are now looking for a

Finance Application Specialist

This position is a member of the Group Finance Application Team at Group Central Finance (GCF) which serves as a link between the finance processes and the system environment, managed by GCF.

As a Finance Application Specialist you will work in close co-operation with the Group Controlling and Group Accounting Teams and their respective reporting processes, such as actual, business plan and forecasting. Your role is to translate the finance processes and information needs into system solutions and vice versa.

Skills within both IT and finance are a pre-requisite for the position. We believe you are in the beginning of your career with a couple of years working experience.

Key responsibilities
+ System and process development
+ Developing reports and analysis, both standard packages and ad-hoc
System maintenance and support
+ Facilitating training and educations for SKF Finance community
+ Coordinate tasks involving technical support and system supplier contacts
+ Participate in various tasks related to the financial reporting, for example monthly closing, forecasting, year-end activities and restatement to new organization
+ Responsible for running improvements and change project in respect to the above areas in cooperation with the business areas, staff functions and business units

Requirements:
+ A university degree within Finance, IT or both
+ Experience from working with finance systems is an advantage
+ Knowledge within reporting and consolidation system (SAP BPC) is an advantage

+ High level of drive and commitment
+ Problem solving and proactive attitude
+ Highly developed social skills
+ Good communication skills in English
+ Interest in working with Excel
+ Willingness to work in an international environment
+ Interest for process development ? both challenge old processes and procedures as well as developing new
