Purpose of the job

Our client are looking for an A/R & A/P Controller. This is an opportunity to gain experience with a successful international organization that grows rapidly. The role is supporting to the Country Manager of Samsung SDS SCL in Sweden. The A/R & A/P Controller will be responsible for all activities related to the incoming and outgoing invoices based our activities. The A/R & A/P Controller is providing information to the Country Manager and RHQ Finance based in the Netherlands related to open A/R and A/P invoice, overdue open item and other related information. In this role you will also perform Logistics Cost Control activities like tariff master data management, logistics costs booking and allocation. Month end is a busy time as you will need to finalize Logistics Cost Control activities for assigned subsidiaries in order to meet the closing deadlines.



Key Activities

Key activities of the A/R A/P Controller are:

- Checking AR and AP Invoices
- Checking and clearing G/L Accounts
- Vendor/Customer Master Data requests
- Support Cash flow Reporting
- Swift Payments
- Processing Bank account mutations
- Asset Accounting
- Checking and posting Travel Expenses
- Support month-end closing
- Support on Reporting related to A/R & A/P matters


Profile

For this role we are looking for a candidate with an eye for detail and who is able to meet deadlines and taking ownership of their work. It is important to work independent, to be able to plan your own time and set priorities as well be a strong communicator with cultural awareness.



We are looking for a person with:

- 3 - 5 Years’ experience in Financial Accounting and Controlling
- SAP Knowledge is an advantage
- MS Office knowledge specially MS-Excel
- Speak Swedish
- Good English, both verbally as in writing
- High Flexibility, Stress resistance
- Solution-driven and getting things done mentality is strongly preferred
- A background in Logistics is preferred as well


To be considered for this role you must be immediately available for work, and there is a possibility that this role may convert to permanent position.
