The role
The Nordic Finance Assistant is part of the Nordic Accounting team, reporting to the Nordic Financial Controller. We are at present responsible for the accounting of 11 companies.
The Nordic Accounting team has today 4 members that work close together as a team to ensure accuracy and timely accounting and closings. We also support around 300 colleagues in the Stockholm office, as well colleagues in other jurisdictions. Kindred is represented by more than 50 different nationalities, why English is the main language for us.
The role is a 12 months fixed-term contract.
What you will do
Main task is to be responsible for invoices in accounts payable, payment and reconciliation of invoices
Bank reconciliation
Be responsible for the handling of the expenses
Take care of assets including depreciation for some smaller entities
Some month-end/year-end closing tasks
Inform and be of assistance to co-workers regarding coding and other accounting
Your experience
Knowledge about accounts payable. Some accounting knowledge is an advantage
Accurate and prestige less
Able to multi-task and work towards numerous simultaneous deadlines
Good communication skills
Excel skills
Close attention to details
Ability to work well under pressure as well as adapt to change
Self-motivating team player
Fluent Swedish and good verbal and written English communication skills required
Preferably experience working for a multinational company
Preferable some accounting qualifications and 1-2 years of experience of working with accounts payable and expenses.
