Finance Assistant - General Ledger

The Nordic/Baltic Area, Finance and Accounting department have an open position.The position is within our general ledger group for our Swedish and Finish entities.The position is located at the Maersk Sweden office in Gothenburg. The Nordic Accounting department is fully functional and handle transactions for all business entities, e.g.agency, liner, logistics.During 2006 and 2007 FACT (global finance/accounting system based on SAP) has been implemented in all the Nordic countries.The accounting organisation is split into general ledger, exception handling, business process, self service procurement/travel expense management.The open position is within general ledger. General areas of responsibility: .General Accounting .Posting of journal vouchers .Reconciliations .Period end / monthly book-close .Invoicing .Clearing .Other accounting-issues The Candidate The ideal candidate is thorough, structured and have a high attention to quality and results.The person must also be prepared for challenges.We also think the candidate has experience from work within finance/accounting.
